Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)
Everything You Need to Know About Bocher Powder Coating
At Bocher, transparency is as important as our coating quality. We’ve compiled a list of the most common inquiries to help you understand our capabilities and processes.
1. What is Bocher’s total production capacity?
Bocher is one of the industry’s most robust manufacturing hubs. We operate 10 fully automated production lines with a total annual output of 10,000 metric tons. This massive scale ensures we can fulfill high-volume industrial contracts while maintaining consistent lead times.
2. Can you match a specific custom color?
Absolutely. Our in-house R&D laboratory specializes in precision color matching. Simply provide us with a RAL/Pantone code or a physical sample, and our technicians will utilize spectrophotometer technology to create a perfect match in your desired gloss and texture.
3. What types of powder chemistries do you offer?
We offer a comprehensive range of formulations, including:
-
Epoxy: For excellent chemical resistance and indoor durability.
-
Polyester (TGIC & TGIC-Free): Ideal for outdoor architectural applications and UV resistance.
-
Hybrid (Epoxy-Polyester): A versatile balance for general indoor use.
-
Specialty Coatings: Including anti-microbial, heat-resistant, and super-durable powders.
4. What is the typical lead time for an order?
Thanks to our 10-line configuration, we offer superior flexibility. Standard products are typically ready for dispatch within 5–7 business days. Custom formulations generally require 10–14 days, including the R&D and sampling phase.
5. Are Bocher coatings environmentally friendly?
Yes. Environmental stewardship is a core Bocher value. Our powder coatings are 100% VOC-free (Volatile Organic Compounds) and contain no heavy metals. Additionally, our powders are over-spray reclaimable, making them a "Zero-Waste" finishing solution compared to traditional liquid paints.
6. Do you provide samples for testing?
We believe in our product’s performance. We provide complimentary 1-2kg test samples for industrial clients to evaluate adhesion, flow, and curing properties on their specific substrates before committing to a bulk order.
7. What industries do you primarily serve?
Our 10,000-ton capacity allows us to serve a wide spectrum of industries, including Automotive (wheels and frames), Architecture (aluminum profiles and facades), Home Appliances, Industrial Equipment, and Outdoor Furniture.
8. How do you ensure batch-to-batch consistency?
Quality is non-negotiable. Every production run undergoes a rigorous 12-point QC check, testing for particle size distribution, curing oven curves, impact resistance, and salt spray endurance. Our automated lines minimize human error, ensuring your 1st batch is identical to your 100th.
